So... It's dawn and the sun has just peaked over the horizon in beautiful southern Philippines. Thousands of people are getting ready to go to work or continue their vacation. They are depending on YOU to get them to their destination as quick as possible by any means necessary.
Ready? Set? No?

🇵🇭 TAKSI 🏁 is a ridiculously fun 2-6 player strategy board game where you make competitors swerve off the road, go off-roading, and get into loads of trouble all in the name of getting passengers to their destination as quick as possible. Play as a driver in one of three stylish and popular modes of transportation in the Philippines, the Payong-Payong, Jeepney, or the Tuk-Tuk.
Avoid getting into too much trouble and get passengers where they need to be, and you'll be stuffing your wallet with stacks of Philippine Pesos. Collect the most Pesos by the end of the day, and you'll be crowned...

Learn about the amazing culture, customs, cuisines, and destinations the Philippines has to offer.
Learn phrases in not one, but two common languages spoken in southern Phillipines — Tagalog and Cebuano.
Support the Philippine economy. We initially plan to feature Filipino illustrators throughout the game.
Support causes focused on ending discrimination towards Asians and economic empowerment. We plan to donate a percentage of profits from the total lifetime revenue of the game to supporting these causes.
Have ridiculous amounts of fun. We’ve played this game many times, and it gets better each time.
Support a love story—Helping reunite two people separated by 8000 miles (err…) 12,000 kilometers.
And yet, 🇵🇭 TAKSI 🏁 is even more than that.
The 🇵🇭❤️ Story Behind Taksi
On New Year’s Eve 2020, Jessica introduced herself online to Eric with a simple greeting ‘Happy New Year’. Jessica lives in Davao, Philippines and Eric lives in Michigan, USA. Despite the distance, that didn’t stop them from getting to know each other. They chatted and video called almost every single day. It seemed like love, but… for three years, they never actually met in person.
In early February 2024, Eric was finally able to make the trip to meet Jessica in person. As soon as they met, it truly was love. They spent a week together enjoying everything the Philippines had to offer.
While heart-breaking to have to separate after only a short week, on the last day, Jessica and Eric had a brilliant, creative, and amazing idea.
“What if we turned our whole experience and everything that is wonderful about the Philippines into an extremely fun board game?”
They spent all morning writing and drawing up ideas. Eric has years of being a designer and Jessica wants to be an elementary teacher. They put their superpowers of learning and creativity together, and 🇵🇭 TAKSI 🏁 was born.
Now, Eric and Jessica are back to being separated with hopes that one day they can reunite in the US.
🇵🇭 TAKSI 🏁 is not just a game.
Taksi is Jessica and Eric’s gift of fun times with friends and family to the world with the hope that it funds a new chapter of their life together in the US.
